If you get a choice to hold off and get a 2011 or get one sooner and it's a 2010, I think I'd ask what the difference will be. Frequently there are changes at the model year. It may be a graphics change or cabinetry changes or even a floorplan change. I'd see if I could find out, then choose whichever I like best.
As for which model year it is, I wouldn't get too hung up on that. I'd be more concerned with the above. And, also, the 2011 will likely have a slightly higher insurance premium since it is "newer."
