Battery indicator panel

In my Monty there is the tank level indicator and battery indicator. When I press the battery button, ALL lights light up Red.

Is this normal?

How is it supposed to work????

Thanks.

Hi Phil,

If all lights, light up it is reading 13 plus volts. normal if you are plugged in, or you haven't drained much power out of the batteries after unplugging.

should be one less red light when not plugged in, and as the power drains and is not recharged, one less, one less, one less.
You get the picture.

Phil, the lights are reading level of whatever button you push - 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full.

The battery level should always be full when plugged into 110. That means the converter is charging the battery or providing power to all the 12 volt circuits. The only way to get a "real" battery reading is to turn off the 110 breaker at the plug out side or turn off the converter at the breaker panel. With the converter off you will then get a voltage level of your battery.
The remaining levels are all water or fluid levels and should read accurate all the time.
I hope this helps.
Good luck and safe towing.

Anticipate that the black tank level indicator will fail, sooner rather than later. Nature of the beast. Lots of tips on how to cope with that in the Forum postings. I haven't looked at any of those indicators (except battery) for over 3 years.

From my view, it isn't worth the effort to tow it to the dealer to get it "looked at". Just a "heads up".
