Rome, NY

We're in Rome, NY at the Delta Lake SP. Very pretty area. Went to Fort Stanwix today and on to the Erie Canal Village tomorrow to ride a horse pulled packet boat on a restored section of the original Erie Canal.

Bob n Pam,
We are not far from you as the crows fly, and about 116 as the road takes one. We are in Marathon, NY for the night and headed North in the morning for the Adirondacks - Tupper Lake for a few days. It's a beautiful country, isnt' it?

Tim, we're leaving tomorrow for the Corning area. Sorry I didn't see your post sooner.

Jim and Vickie, we wish you were up here, too. It's beautiful and the packet boat ride today was lots of fun.

John and Judi, we passed it today on our way to the Ives Run COE campground, where we are now. All the camping around Watkins Glen seemed pretty expensive.
