new faucet installed Pic

We have the new faucet installed. Took the other one back and got one that is a little different but has a sprayer which I wanted. We didn't have to cut any holes or anything. This one was more expensive than I would have liked to pay but we can take it out if we trade for a new one someday.

We got this one at Home Depot. Price Pfister 34-PTCC model. It was around $80 for it but is nice one with a life time warranty. It had a soap dispenser too but we would have had to cut a hole for it so we didn't use it.

Yours faucet looks great. Here is a pic of mine .http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f7...ctures8010.jpg

I had to enlarge my centre hole with a file and the soap dispenser fits the right hand hole with no changes. The spout pulls out for the spray and by being in the centre the spout swivels to the centre of both sinks. I too could have mounted mine with the spout on the right and not do any hole enlarging but we wanted the spout in the centre of the sink and I do believe it is more user friendly that way.

Your sink faucet looks very nice! You had more room to work with than we did. Since ours is on sort of an island. I saw a faucet like yours that we almost bought.
Ours will swivel to the other sink too. I am somewhat left handed so the spray handle on left side is OK.

That is great that the right hand mount works for you and I do believe your faucet looks a little more upscale. Take care.

Kathi, Most importantly , I was so glad to hear that Paul is home and on the mend. Wonderful news.

I got that faucet at a Canadian Tire store that is a big hardware chain in Canada. It is called a Peerless faucet, reg 129.00 on sale for 58.00 Can. so about 45.00 US. Take care and here's a project for Paul when he gets a little stronger.

Very nice! Marsha is having our kitchen in the house totally remodeled and she selected a faucet that has a very similar look as the one you used, certainly made by the same company.

Well I think toolmanroy should join in and repost his picture of his faucet...Now that is a faucet! That faucet is huge. If he ever has a fire in his trailer he can just pull that thing out and use it.

Oh yea, I forgot to say, Paul is out of commission for awhile. I will be doing anything that needs to be done to the trailer. He will be my supervisor though...LOL

Kathi you continue to make it difficult for me to talk Roy into switching out the Montana faucet with our stick home kitchen faucet! I guess I am used to it at this point, but you are right, it would probably work better than the fire extinguisher if need be.

You guys have really done a great job with those faucet installations. They look first class. I would like to try it myself if I had any confidence in my plumbing skills.

Bob, with the way plumbing parts are made nowdays, changing the faucet in your Fiver is a pretty straightforward job and if you work with tools , even a little bit, you won't have a problem.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Wrenchtraveller, I like your faucet. It looks like ours that came from the factory. Glad I do not have to change mine. I would certainly end up with a major leak/flood. I am no plumber at all..

OK. When I suggested to Colin a little while ago that I would like the kitchen faucet changed he insisted that a stick house faucet could not be installed in the Montana. He took me to Home Depot and showed me the faucets and explained that the fittings were very different. You have proved otherwise!!!. Please explain for him how you changed the fittings. Thanks. NOW I WILL BE POPULAR.
