Corner/Tray Table

First time camper in our new 3121-RL. I was ‘assigned’ the left theatre recliner for everyday use. Very comfortable, but seriously lacking in options for my coffee cup or space to set my iPad, etc. I looked into small end tables, and actually purchased one, but they don’t really fit into the corner well, as the slide mechanism means no flat floor close enough to set the table.
After a bit of head scratching, I came up with a solution that others may find useful. I purchased a small TV wall mount on Amazon (~$13), a cutting board at Walmart (~$9), and a pair of brackets at the hardware store (~$5). I mounted the bracket to the edge of the slide wall with two 5/16” x 1-1/4” long lag bolts. This was the most nervous part of the operation, since I wasn’t sure what was behind the trim. I appears there is thick wood back there, which held the lag bolts very well. I still plan to redo the attachment of the board to the mount. It looks a bit funky, and I don’t need the adjustment features used for a TV. For right now, it works quite well, and can be used for the chair or the couch. Hope someone finds this useful.

Regards,
John

P.S. - Sorry for the sideways pictures. Can’t figure out how to rotate them...

Looks great! Way to think outside the box.
