Using an electric rotary buffer/polisher...

How many of you use an electric polisher on your Monty? What brand do you have, and what have you thought of it?
I've never had an electric before, but now, looking at the size of this beast and my Ram 3500 together, I'm realizing it's way too much for my arthritic dang thumbs anymore.
While we're on the topic of polishing, what brands are you using? I've been using Nu Finish for about 20 years now, and love it.

Invest in a orbital style buffer. speeds are slower and orbital won't leave swirl marks. I have always used Mothers products but thats my own preference. Be careful with high speed buffers,you can burn the finish

I use Nu Finish. Buff out by hand. With Nu Finish, pretty easy. Would go electric if I was using a paste wax. I take my time and do one side a day.

Been car collection for 30 years. No buffer ever! My opinion yes, and I have seen orbital buffers leave marks. Had Jaguar replace a one year old car, because some genius used a "safe orbital buffer"! I prefer a nice even hand applied polish. If you use a good polish it does not take that long. Harder yes, but you won't burn the paint or Gel finish.

I use Croftgate Aquanil X...wipe on, wipe off using micro fibers only....love the ease and leaves a nice shiney waxed look and feel.

It beads up for 6 months...

Thanks, it did a great job, I used McGuire's 50 RV cleaner/wax and the camper sparkled. But, like I said, it get very heavy after a while.

Bought a 6" Ryobi random orbital buffer for $20 at Home Depot. Does a great job, light weight and replacement bonnets are only a couple dollars at Auto Zone. Only issue is that if you lift the buffer off the surface without turning off the buffer it will random orbit the foam pad apart in short order.

I had three different buffers. I don't use one with NuFinish, like others have said a microfiber cloth takes it off pretty easily.
