Parker Az.

Well here we are in Parker Az to spend the winter with some friends. A few words of caution for anyone traveling on I84 In the Boise area. The freeway is really rough and tore up. It is the worst road I have ever pulled a trailer on.

Upon our arrival to Az I noticed a large knot on the inside of a rear tire on the truck and while having the rear tires replaced the brakes were checked and a rear axle seal was found leaking into the brakes so it took a little more than just a set of tires to get us safely back on the road. Any time you have a rear tire off be sure and check the seals and brakes it could save you a lot of grief later.

Our 5er with the caboose carrying two quads performed flawlessly all the way down and we were averaging 10 and 11 mpg on the road. Not bad for a doubble tow.

I just LOVE Parker, we stayed up the road 45 minutes at Lake Havasu, but visited Parker quite a bit. Try the floating hamburgler joint on the Colorado river over at the county campground. Go up to the Indian Casino and try the dollar wheel of fortune machine, )On the right) I hit it for $1,000, 10 minutes later, another $1,000, 5 minutes after that, $500.00.
Where are you staying?
