Need help finding replacement sofa

We are ready to replace the sofa bed that came with our 2013 3100 rl. There is a very wide drawer at the bottom that keeps falling off the track. The air mattress that came with it has a puncture that I can't seem to repair. In any case, other that Camping world, I am having a hard time finding a replacement source. Calling Camping world is a pain. They rarely pick up, and when they do they put me on an endless hold.

There are not may options that display the furniture. I want to be able to sit on it and feel the material. I also want someone to swap out what I have. Am I asking for too much? Any ideas?

We got replacements on our older camper from etrailer.com. They were very helpful with getting what we needed. I would use them again.

Measure your available space and go shopping at the furniture store of your choice for any couch you prefer. DOES NOT have to RV specific! On our 2008 3400RL we replaced ours with a very good quality all hardwood futon that made out to a queen bed and loved it.

I like the idea of seeing the couch in a shop first. It seems that I heard that conventional furniture tends to be heavier that that made for rvs. Incorrect?

Good advice furniture is furniture. We've gotten several pieces of furniture from a regular store...same stuff, lots cheaper.

Not necessarily. We replaced inferior recliners in our 2012 Montana with Lazy Boys and the LB were actually lighter, real leather, and MUCH better.

Yep, Lazy Boy recliners are much lighter that the original. And they are electric

Try This

I also have a 3100RL, and like you I have been searching the Internet for a replacement sofa. The factory sofa that we are both trying to replace is 70 inches in length, kind of a difficult size since most RV sofas I've come across are 68" in length. But today I notice that Lazy Boy is offering several 70" RV sofa beds on Amazon, all priced under $700 delivered. Think I am going to buy one and just wanted to pass the link along to you.

Re recently replace our original furniture with Lazy Boy Couch and Lazy Boy Reclining Chairs. The original RV couch was 72 inches and the realacement brochure stated couch length to be 68 inches but is more like 70 inches as it is actually about 2 inches shorter. The Lazy Boy Recliners we purchased are very similar in size to OEM ones and have good clearance when turned sideways for slides to be pulled back in. We paid just under $2,000 for all three including tax and delivery/installation into our Montana, they offered to take away our old couch and chairs but we had already pitched them in the sinkhole(erosion control).

Glastop rv furniture. Bought ultra leather recliners. Built to your specs. Great products and customer support.

We got electric recliners both twins and sofa. Did away with bed. We looked at a Tiffin Beacon and the furniture is Franklin I think. It was fantastic

Few years ago I changed out double recliner for hide a bed from American Leather. It has proven to be a very good unit, not a traditional back breaker bed. I visited local furniture store for look at unit. Weight was not a factor, I called Keystone to check slider weight limits. I found unit on eBay for considerably less (about half) than retail store even with shipping from Dallas. Hope this helps.

Didn't mention in previous message. Check with local thrift store they should pick up old unit if serviceable.

Has anyone tried out a European recliner? The sizes are great and they are light. Just wondering if they are comfortable. Looking at recpro.com.

I ended up getting a couch from Camping World. They were only charging $59 to change out the couch and I ended up getting a tan Thomas Payne tri-fold. It is so much nicer than the stupid air mattress that came with the rig. The old unit had a huge drawer that repeatedly opened when we traveled. Though the new couch is relatively short when opened, it is by far more comfortable than the other.

What did you do about the wheels on the original? We have a 2014 3100RL and I am wanting to replace it as well.

We replaced ours with a nice futon. Super easy to make into a bed.
