Mopeka tank sensors
Has anyone had any issues with these? We’ve had them for a year now, and they worked great until recently. I noticed one was reading 100%, even though we had used a fair amount of propane.
I put the one from the other tank in its place, and sure enough, it then read 20%.
I contacted the company and they sent me another one. I cannot get that one to sync. I read and reread the instructions, and I am doing it right. I also changed all the batteries with brand new ones.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't use these, but the sync procedure seems pretty straight forward. I would be on the phone to them if you can't get them to work. http://mopeka.com/wp-content/uploads...s-WV-Rev-A.pdf

I was just wondering if I was the only one who had a problem with these things.

Instead of following the directions as far as pressing the button 5 times, the guy I spoke to when having trouble getting mine to sync, was to press the button at least 10 times as some of the sensors, for what ever reason, will not sync at the stated number of 5. It worked and have been very happy with mine. Just had to replace both batteries this past weekend and they fired back to life.

Supposedly they are really for 20lb tanks so aren’t as accurate with the 30lb tanks. I just installed them but knew they would be a bit inaccurate.
