Slides "creep" out

Have just spent the last hour looking over posts about slide problems, and didn't find anything that relates to my problem. Over the past year or so, with the slide all the way in, the kitchen/living room slide seems to creep out at the bottom an inch or two over the course of a couple of days. All I have to do is actuate the switch for a second or two, and it comes back in. The bedroom and entertainment center slides don't seem to have this problem.

The kitchen/living room slide is the one that goes flush with the floor, and I'm thinking maybe there is a check valve or something like that that may be leaking back into the system. I don't seem to be having any
external leaks, but I don't see any sort of glass or anything like that to check the fluid level. Is this something I should be concerned about, or just leave alone? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Neighborman,

I just went through the very same problem, only ours were creeping out while traveling. Found that the DeWald hydraulic pump was bad. Ketelsens RV in Hiawatha, IA replaced the pump under extended warranty and everything is fine now. Seems that the pump was allowing the fluid to seep back.

MIMF will give you more informative information concerning this problem.
