remote control
The landing gear out button on my remote stopped working. All other buttons seem to work OK. I did the reset on the control unit in the trailer battery compartment with no luck. Any ideas?

Similar thing happen to me only it was the rear stabilizer buttons ... on a whim I changed the remote battery. Although I don't really know why, it cured my button issue.

As a helpful hint if you are not aware of the hidden screw on the remote.
If your remote is like the remote for the 10s there is a hidden screw on the back of the remote about the middle under the label. You can press on the label and find it. This will save you some headaches getting the remote apart to replace the battery.

Mine takes an A23 photo battery.
Had a hard time finding them but someone suggested Walmart. They seem to always have them in stock.

Changed battery, didn't help. Probably a bad contact under this button. The remote is not working at all now. Light blinks, but nothing works. I know I've seen on here how to sync remote with base unit but does someone know procedure offhand.

We have had similar problem with our remote control. I have used it quite a bit since our Montana was new and changed the battery three times. After the last battery change I noticed that the Remote failed to work. I initialized it and it then worked for a couple of times. I intitialized it again and it only worked a couple more times. Then it failed to work and it failed to initialize. The remedy was to buy a new remote. That solved the problem.
