TV removal (television)

Some idiot left the remote for the DVD player on the TV and did not remove it prior to towing. Our TV does not swivel or slide and I cannot figure out how to remove the DVD drawer behind the TV. How do I remove the TV so this idiot can retrieve the remote?

By the way, the idiot is on site 404.

Thanks,

Idiot Dick

Thanks to John & Ron for stopping by to help. Unfortunately the remote was not under the TV so I will remove my self appointed IDIOT label.

Now aren't you going to tell us where you put it or are we going to have to ask the DW?

I strongly second that, inquiring minds want to know!!! Besides, it might keep me from doing the same thing in the future.

As of today it has been missing for a couple of months. I purchased a replacement, on line, for about $60. Most of the functions of the DVD player are only accessible through the remote. We have no idea where the original is. The only thing we can think of is that SOB ripped it off LOL

Now that you have bought a new one it will show up within the next few days. That is usually how it works! But... you'll have a spare should it reappear.

That's our hope. It could be anywhere. The funny thing is that it will probably show up where "my wife" put it LOL.

Just a thought, but one fall while getting ready to put our trailer away, for some reason I had to get on the floor to pick something up,I was using my flashlight I think the living room slide was closed. While down there I saw something shiny, and laying on the edge of where the room would sit while open I found a second remote for the furnace. Was there for two seasons I think. Long story for short answer, look in the edge of the slide area. you never know.

Ya,I sometime wonder how the stuff gets under the slides, because it is hell to get something out from under them. Anything not nailed down seems to end up under the Kit slide.
