HDTV Antenna

I posted something similar, but got told I'd be better served to do so again here.

I have a brand new 3820FK, and upon return from her maiden voyage that a neighbor had cable installed while we were gone... how do these things fit together? Well, the new cablewas just low enough to snag my TV antenna and break it off. I was able to repair the structure, but the damaged low loss cable was damaged beyond my tools and ability. It's a Winegard RD "Bat Wing" . So I have two question. 1) can anyone recommend a replacement cable? 2) what type of sealant is used on the roof of the 2019s? I'm told there new textured material is "Alpha" coating and doesn't use the traditional lap sealant.

Thanks in advance!

I am not up on the 2019 models, but let me take a shot at your questions.

I am unfamiliar with the "low loss cable" as I thought Montana used the standard RG6 for all its cabling needs. This is a common TV cable which is easy to repair. If it is beyond your capabilities, look for a satellite TV installer who might help.

Montana has used EDPM roofing for many years. I remember someone saying they recently moved to TPO. I don't know but it is easy to determine which one you have. https://dicorproducts.com/video-library/
Alpha roofing appears to be a vendor specific EDPM material which is not compatible with the standard Dicor lap sealant. Allegedly you need to use Proflex Primer before applying the usual lap sealant.

I recommend you verify the use of an Alpha roof material with Montana before moving forward. Alpha seems to be a strange duck roof material and I would hate to see Montana move to it n place of the more standard roofing materials.

Prior to my Mountaineer I had owned three Sunnybrook 5th wheels. Sunnybrook used Alpha EDPM. Don't know if Alpha is still making EDPM but I couldn't tell it from Dicor.
