Roll-Up Tonneau Cover Recommendation?

What make/brand do you like? Need to add one to my NEW 2012 F350 SRW, long bed. The company that made what is on my F250 '04, is out of business. Want a soft one w/built in ribs that will last years. Thanks.

Had the lo-pro on my 250 and have the tonnopro on my 350. Not much difference except the price.

I had a Truxedo for several years and it was great. When we bought the 2011 2955RL it came with the MoreRide pin which hits the Toneau rails when making sharp turns so I had to take it off. Replaced it with a solid tri fold. In my opinion, a mutch better cover than a roll up.

Extang RT from Autoanything.com. I would not get one that snaps, it takes for ever. The RT has a solid strip of velcro down both sides, life time guarantee and free shipping.

I have the TruXedo Deuce which also opens in the front allowing easy access to a toolbox and firewood. Since loose items tend to slide to the front, being able to access them without rolling up the Tonneau cover from the rear. As others have said, lifetime warranty, Velcro not snaps hold it down, and you can roll it halfway when towing (use 3" wood working clamps to keep the corners held down.

I was worried about the MorRyde hitch hitting the rails but it just clears. I jackknifed the truck to a full 90 degrees to be sure.

If you get one with snaps, do not get one with plastic snaps. In really cold weather they are difficult to unsnap and almost impossible to snap.
I had an Extang on an F150 a number of years ago. Other than the plastic snaps it was a good cover.
Have a roll type on the F350.

We have a Truxedo soft top. Lifetime warranty. I treat it with 303 every so often to keep it looking good. It has done what it's supposed to do. Because it is secured by Velcro along the bed rails, I purchased one inch wide velcro strips to cover the exposed velcro on the truck when the cover is rolled up to keep them from getting covered in dirt kicked up from the road. Otherwise they may loose their grip over time.
I might have gone with a hard cover of some kind but didn't have space for the added hardware under the bed rails due to the truck tool box.

I'm with sailer on this one! I've had the Roll-n-lock or a very similar one for the past four years and love it! It slides right over the hitch in the bed and locks when I need to keep things stored in the bed. It does take up about 6-7" in the front of the bed but the cover just rolls into the box and is stored when not in use. It also has two drain holes with tubes running down through the bed for moisture(rain or whatever) when the cover is either extended or rolled into the storage box. One thing you do have to have is a locking tailgate if you want everything secure with the top rolled out but that's with any tonneau cover!

Chris I have an Access on my 03 Dodge. I had a problem with the cover due to the velcro, along the sides, not holding as well as it did when new. They sent me a replacement cover, including the ribs, for $75. So now 8 years later it's brand new. They are a great company to work with. Good luck.

I have the retrax as well. My son and I installed it in less than an hour, works great. Nice to have some security to the bed, it locks in any position. Does take room in the front of the bed is all. Small US company ... Fargo, ND.
