Slide out help needed.
Hi, Snows all gone and its 60 today. Went to open my unit and the one slide will not open. One side of it starts but the right side of the slide doesn't move so the left side starts to move out but stops because the right side doesn't budge. I checked to make sure the unit is level and it is right on. Tried to open and close a few times but nothing works. It is the living room slide on the non-door side. It is hydraulic but it seems only one side it moving.
Any ideas. Everything underneath is sealed.

You might want to make sure your batteries are charged.after sitting if you didn’t disconnect they may have been drained.

Year and model of your unit is usually helpful to know so others can help.

The long slides have a square bar running from the drive side to the other side of the slide. It has a rachet drive gear that moves the opposite end of the slide. Check to see if the gear is broken or a cotter pin is missing.

Here's an old post that I supplied a photo for ... 8th reply down. Unless your seals have stuck really tight to one side ... you may have a balance shaft bolt broken. They're just regular grade five 1/4" bolts like stocked at Lowes.

Normally it is the 1/4" bolt that is broken. Check that first then check the gear.

Thanks everyone for the input. Battery fully charged, unit level. Going to check the bolt. Just have to find it.

Both living room slides on the 3791RD are electric instead of hydraulic. The bedroom is also electric and the kitchen and dining room slides are hydraulic. The slide you are having trouble with is a Schwintek and has gotten out of sync. There are videos on You Tube on how to correct the issue yourself. Appears to be a simple matter to do so. I know this because we have the same unit. You didn't find a bolt did you? Only a smooth bottom?
BTW, the mfg of this system says when running in or out to NOT STOP the process until the slide gets all the way in or out whichever applies and to continue to hold the switch for 3-5 seconds after movement stops. This is supposed to keep the 2 motors in sync and prevent the problem you currently have. There is a motor on each side of the slide out.

I had a friend with that exact same problem. Turns out he had a cabinet door come open and jam one side of the slide.

Thanks all. Found a loose wire. Also will now follow the advice to not stop the unit until fully open or closed.
Appreciate the help.

Hi all, just found out a interesting fact. First I want to say I am impressed with Keystone customer Service they got right back to me. THis is the third time I contacted them. Good people.
I find out that my 3791RD Legacy unit has three different slide out systems. Lippert Hydrolic System, AccuSlide System, and the Schwintek Inwall dual motor system. I guess Keystone feels these are the best for the weight , size and number of slides moving.
The good thing is that the customer service sent me the service manual for each of the three systems. Just have to figure out which system is for which slide out.
At the moment all are working, knock on wood, It was great that they were willing to send the manuals.
Another plus for Keystone.

I find this really odd that they would put 2 different electric slide out systems on 1 Montana. Our 2018.5 built last September has the Schwintek on all 3 electric slides and of course the 2 hydraulic ones too. Which of your electric slides has the cables mounted on the outside slide walls? The AccuSlide System uses cables and 1 motor. After we got our present 3791RD I checked out the Schwintek system so I would be prepared if any problems.

The suspense is keeping me awake. Would really like to know which of the OPs slides on their 3790 or 3791 is the AccuSlide cable system.

Guess the Customer Service girl misinformed me. I checked the slides. She said the Bedroom slide was the Accuslide, but it not. All the slides are on tracks and all sound like hydraulic. Guess ours is he same as yours WeBe.
