Our new Montana 3611RL can't leave dealership.

We traded our 2007 Montana 2955 for a new 3611 at Holiday World RV in Dallas, Tx. We were to deliver our trade in at eleven o'clock and do the inspection on the new unit followed by the financial paperwork. Our inspection found many many small ridiculous issues that should have already been fixed plus three big problems to include dents in the residential fridge, shower drain terribly off center with rubber washer almost off and last "tail lights inoperative". When I gave up on waiting they had three or four guys working on the lights and wire were pulled from many lights. Don't know how they'll get the back in but I just told them to call me when it was ready and left. Seems odd that we detailed our trade in yet they obviously spent little or no time on our new one. Disappointed!

Sorry to hear of your issues with the new rig. Similar story with many other dealers too I'm afraid. When you go back for it be "Extremely Critical" on everything and have them show you everything they worked on. I would also have them fill ALL of the tanks and make sure there are no leaks anywhere either!

Not a good start. You did it right. Do not take delivery until 100% satisfied.

Sorry to hear of the issues. It seems like you either get a pretty good unit from Keystone or you hope that you have a good dealership that actually goes through the rig before they do a PDI. One more thing to check for being centered is the pass through for your fresh water, cable or satellite cables. On my 3160 the top hole is nowhere close to being inline with the bottom hole. I hope they take good care of you and get everything straightened out so you can enjoy your new unit.

Good Lord! I know the end user is the quality control in these things, but it appears they didn't even look at it. You'd think they'd be embarrassed. I know I would be. Wow. Good luck getting things right.

Sorry you had this experience. Just plain wrong on both Keystone's and the Dealer's part.

Regarding the dent in the refrigerator, make sure that the brackets holding the refrigerator haven't pulled away from the wall. One of our brackets broke and now we have a dent in the refrigerator door.

If there is nothing wrong with your old unit, I would cancel the deal. Dealer does not sound reputable.

Hopeless, hopeless, dealer if they can't obviously see a dent in the refrigerator door and try to pawn it off on you! That says it all.

Yup! Paper work wasn't finished......I would have hooked up to my trade in, told them to stuff the new one, drove away and went on to another dealer hoping it had a better reputation.

That's why I sign nothing until MY PDI is satisfactory. Cheapest price is not always the best deal.

when you do pick it up, make sure the screw that goes into the fridge to keep the doors closed is there. I think that is how you got the dent. It is a screw that fits between the two top doors and the freezer door. there is no straps just that very large screw keeps it all tight. Good luck
