A blowout can really

mess up your truck also.

Over 50 years of driving for DW and myself, over 1 million miles, and the first blowout ever. But it was a dandy.

Glade that is all that happen. I have left front tire on the truck blowout 20 minutes into our trip to Mid-Atlantic Rally.

Feel your pain - Lost a tire on I-95 North of Savannah last summer.

Cost $1500 to fix. Looks the same as yours

Been there done that. Same results except mine was on the driver's side. Does do a number on the truck bed and some black rubber marks on the front of the 3160. Glad everything else was ok.

I was only towing my small utility trailer with an ATV in it.

We were very fortunate we had one on our inside dually passenger side on our way to Florida two years ago but it did no damage in fact we hardly knew it happened and we were able to get off the interstate and into a truck stop for repair.

Knock on wood,I don't remember EVER having a flat on any of my trucks. Just extremely lucky I guess. Different story with the 2 5th wheels we have owned.

Bigboomer - Goodyear Marathon. The tires that came on all Montanas until recently. Everybody started calling them "Marabombs" because so many of them "exploded." Just not enough tire for the heavy fivers. Now, they use Trailer Kings. Not any better. We changed ours out on our Montana 3900FB before we hauled it anywhere. Put the Goodyear G614s on. The G614s came on our Big Sky.
