Fan like sound when everthing is off??

We brought the unit home to get ready to leave next week, but there is a strange "fan like" sound that seems to be coming from the water heater when absolutely nothing is on. No fans, no water pumps, no A/C, no water heater. Oddly, when I turn the electric water heater on, the sound seems to stop. It also stops if I power off the entire unit. What am I missing?

It could be your converter fan cooling off the converter or if hooked up to electric your hot water heater may be heating the water..

Are you sure it is not a fan in the frig cavity? I hear that fan on a regular bases.

The Converter is the battery charger or can be battery eliminator.
With out knowing what model and year of your Monty we can not tell you where to look.

If you are plugged in to 120 AC power then the fan sound is probably the Converter fan cooling it down while it recharges the batter.

Hi

After our unit has been unoccupied for the day and we come in and turn on the lights we hear the fan in the converter come on. During use it will occasionally shut off for a short time.
