Check your grounds

While trying to figure out how to remove the belly on my Mountaineer I discovered that the self tapping screw holding the ground wires had rusted and busted loose. Along with installing the quickie flush I am now repairing the ground. So everyone might want to check their grounds .

Yes, thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'll be taking a good look, even though I haven't experienced any problems since our unit was new in May 2005.

Just a little advice. Go to Lowes or electricle supply store and purchase a 3 preong continuity checker. When pluged into electricle outlet it lets you know about open grounds, reversed grounds, or reversed wireing. We have a 2000 3280rl and I had one of these testers and checked all outlets and found 5 that the ground wires were not connected to ground.
I made all connections and check them at leased twice a year or every other trip.
