TV Removal

The 27" TV located over the fireplace in my 2006 Montana RL 3500 is cooked I believe due to campground supplied electric. My problem is how to get the TV out of the cabinet. Montana tech support tells my it is fastened from the bottom so I removed the fireplace and did not find any fastners. Help!!!

Walt,

How did you remove the dowels in the facia of the fireplace? Did you place a screw into the dowel and extract? I am thinking of replacing my TV and that appears to be the only way I can think to remove the dowels.

When I removed my fireplace to change the TV I took the dowels out using a sharp pointed Knife, a pin or small nail will also work as they were not glued in. After puting them back I used some light old english polish to cover any marks.
