quick connect for propane.

my old TT had a quick connect for the propane already setup. my new 2010 3400rl doesn't have it. i am confused as to how to do this. do i tap into the main propane pipe or do i put some type of splitter on the propane tank? anyone do this mod yet and point me in the right direction. i am trying to do this for my 3 burner camp chef stove instead of dragging along a separate propane tank.

thanks in advance.

You need the extended stay Tee fitting to go between the regulator and the hose to the LP tank then a quick disconnect hose for the stove. make sure the tee fitting is between the regulator and the lp tank hose. your camp stove has a regulator on it already or at least mine dose.

I also inserted an adjustable high pressure regulator right after extendef stay tee otherwise you have extremely high pressure in any hoses you add. That stay works with the regulator in my camp chef stove. In any case make sureNOT to use low pressure quick connectors. I have had my camp chef set up this way for about ten years on three different campers. Also use it with my Coleman grill.
