New Coaches on the web page

Went onto the Keystone RV web page to look at the floor plans, noticed that almost every unit has a height of 13'5". WOW are they pushing it or what?

Fine print on our unit says 12.11 and adds 6 inches for a front AC.

That is getting up there where you're in the neighborhood of interstate bridge construction heights and lots of old bridges on side roads. We're tall, but not that tall and we've had to crawl under a few bridges and avoid others.

The website says ours is 12'9" but with the fron A/C and hitched to the truck (it rides a little nose high when hitched) we are at 13'7". Wish we would of had the slimline A/C as an option when we ordered the 2nd a/c on ours. After owning a Cougar X-Lite I always think I have lots of clearance but when I get out to check I am very close to the tree branches. So far stayed on the interstates so no problem with overpasses but the time will come .......

We are at 13'4" as measured at the Fall Rally. We have an RV GPS unit which has saved us several times. Pretty good insurance when you are sitting up high.

We are at 13'5" with front air and G614 tires. I wonder if that means some of these new units, after installing G614 tires could be 13'6" or more?

Don't forget that all of the new units are now coming through with 12" I beams instead of 10". That adds 2" that have to be accounted for somewhere.

We are 13'4" and have went under one I-40 exit overpass that was posted at 13'6", we went very slow with no contact. While hauling farm equipment have moved over next to the support pillars to clear.

We were at 13' 6" until I pulled the MaxAir vent covers off to install solar - now at 13' 2" with the highest point being the black tank vent turbo thing. Haven't felt the need to add a second AC, and don't think we ever will as being lower really makes life easier.
