Silicone Rubber Self Fusing Tape

Hi Folks,

I decided to pick some of this tape up from Amazon. I love it, doesn't stick you your fingers, but you can hardly pull it a part from it’s self. Come in many colors and sizes, I picked up a 2" x 36' roll to try, and just order a 1" x 36' roll. Very easy to work with.

Have had some of it for over two years now and it really works. Tried it to test it on a water hose and it really seal well. Worth the money and I keep a couple rolls in the Monte just incase.

This product has been on the market for a long time. I sold this product the manufacture is Arlon to the best of my knowledge was only available through industrial type suppliers used primarily in my case as an Electrical Insulation.

I have used this tape for at least 30 years. It is used as an insulating tape on high voltage underground cables. We always got the gray tape, not sure why. No idea on the cost, it just came with the job materials.
