Help Wanted - Coordinators

UPDATE 8-27-18

For our seven day rally, we have about 40 out of 300 people who have volunteered to make this rally a success. Many of those have volunteered for multiple events. The way we are able to keep the Rally Fee at $75 is because of the great volunteers. We still need some coordinators for events. No experience necessary. The success of rallies relies on many hands making light work. So, here are the coordinators we still need:

White Elephant
Assistant Photographer

These are two pretty easy positions. (Did I mention coordinators get a closer site?)

Thanks in advance.

Ron

Ok, put me down for the vendor coordinator and I'll look for an assistant from one of the first time attendees.

Thanks to Erin, Sheila and Dick. We have filled Vendor Coordinator, Keystone Luncheon and Pet Parade. Still room for some addition volunteers.

I could probably help with the Alaska thing, since we have taken a trailer up there, but I cannot run it. This is our first Montana rally so I would have no idea what to do as a coordinator.

Loneoak, being a coordinator and running it are the same thing for the Alaska roundtable. It's very informal. You can bring some of the materials you used for planning, describe the things that went well and those that didn't, maybe bring some of the things you took along and then answer questions. This is for people who are interested in going and have never been, those that are heading up for a second time shortly (like us) and those that want to know what's involved. Plus, it's a great way to meet new friends. Let me know if you'll do this.

So you just need one person, not one person and a helper? We have only been up there once, and there were some places we did not go. I think I could contribute, but there are probably others with more knowledge than me. So if there is a more knowledgeable person, I could help, but I do not feel qualified to run it.

Since this is my first rodeo, I go for the assistant position. But If I am under your wing there better be copious amount of deodorant in play.

Could probably use a helper or two for pet parade as there may be quite a few entries and we'll want some help judging categories

Chris and Pete,

Thanks for volunteering! We will add you to the coordinator list.

I'll be your POC for this event. I will send you a PM in the next day or so.

Thanks again!!!

North to Alaska coordinator

Rames14,
If it is still available, you may list Daniel Lazenby (of caniel) as coordinator for North to Alaska coordinator.

FYI: Astrid (of loneoak) and I have been in communication and she has indicated an interest in co-hosting this session.

We still need (3) Coordinators for the Rally:
1. Potluck Brunch
2. Saturday Night Social
3. Assistant Photographer

Looking forward to some volunteers. Thanks to all who have already volunteered.

Ron and Rhonda - thanks for the interest. Each one is a little different.
Saturday Night Social Coordinator - Just involves making sure that the band gets set up and any arrangement in the tent that occurs.
Ladies Tips/Tricks Coordinator - This is basically a roundtable (perhaps the ladies will chime in, because this is ladies only) where the microphone gets passed to people to explain tips and tricks they've learned on the road and to answer questions.
Assistant Photographer - taking pictures and coordinating with our lead photographer.
Potluck Brunch - similar to the other meals. Preparing the tables, getting assistants to help you and posting and keeping track of what people are bringing.

Hope this helps.
