You never know where you'll run into a MOC Member

left the Sunshine Coast on Friday morning (Heading south to find some Sun) and made it just south of Olympia Washington that night.
It was around 6:30 PM or so when we finally found a RV Park, Olympia RV Park, just off of I-5. As we were setting up Camp (in the dark), I noticed we were parked beside a New Big Sky. Too late & dark to go make acquaintances. Didn't see anybody around in the morning, but as we pulled around to the front of the RV park to fuel up, there was a Maroon colored pick-up fueling up in front of me. The gentleman came over to talk for a few minutes as his truck was fueling. He told me he owned the Big Sky that we had parked beside. I asked if he had ever heard of Montanaowners.com. He said that he had & he read or posted every day........... He said his name was Dick.. of rldriver MOC-2801. Only the second MOC members we have ever met, Don't run into too many where we live. Was a pleasant surprise.

p/s: Dick, we have made it all the way to Coos Bay so far.

John and Dawn,

Those MOC'ers are everywhere!

You'll have to get Doug (DHenry) to set you up with a MOC Flag! (Only $20 USD)

Looking forward to seeing you at the 'Circling of the Montanas at Quartzsite'. Only 18 more days!

John and Dawn, sorry but we had breakfast with our kids that live in Olympia and our plan was to stop by and vist when we got back to the park. It was great to meet you and sorry it was too late to sit down over a cup of java. We left the park today and returned to our site in Ephrata Washington to find about 6" of snow in our spot and had to clear it out before setting up. Jackie has 16 more week to work and then we are out of here heading for warmth and sunshine.

Happy camping and safe travels hope to see you on the road again,

Dick & Jackie
