Raise jacks, frost in fridge
I have a 2019 3930 fb.with RV fridge and 6 Jack system. My front Jack's need to be raised up a few inches. Looks like the big bolts on the gray metal might work but not sure. Also I was told my fridge has a defrost cycle but I have to defrost it every 6 weeks are so. Any information will be helpful. Thanks in advance. Bill

My 2020 Norcold rv refrigerator/freezer manual says at regular intervals the temperature control system melts most of the frost from the cooling fins and drains to a collection cup attached to the back of the refrigerator where the heat from the cooling system evaporates the water. It goes on to say that it is normal to periodically defrost the freezer.
I guess the front jacks are close to grounding when towing. This is long shot, but after hitching up to you truck raise the jacks with the leveling system as far as they will go. I found I needed to that on my last fifth wheel.

You can probably raise the front jacks up a hole or two on those jacks, but consider the clearance at the top of them. If for any reason they have to be manually retracted, that is accessed from the top of the jack. There needs to be enough clearance to get a wrench in there.
About the refrigerator, which refrigerator model do you have. I have a High Country and it has a Samsung residential refrigerator in it. Apparently, there are different models of refrigerators in different Montana's.
For an FYI, my freezer drawer frosts up. At first I thought it was leaking air, because air is the only way it will frost. But over the winter and early Spring, the refrigerator was on 24x7, but not used. The freezer drawer was never opened. And also, no frost. I suppose just normal use of opening and closing the freezer is enough to form the frost. I have to turn mine off to defrost, yes, about every 2 months in the warm months.

I would be reluctant to raise the front jacks at all unless you plan to carry a lot of blocks to avoid getting out of stroke errors in unlevel campgrounds.

Our RV fridge defrosts the fins in the fridge section, but the freezer section does not defrost and I have to regularly defrost it. If you are in a high humidity area and access the freezer section often, then you will have a faster buildup of ice.

Download the MyLCI app from Google play store. Lots of good info, TSB, manuals and troubleshooting are available on the app. Everything at your fingertips.
It also has the torque specs for the bolts when you move your jacks up.

Raised all six jacks 2 holes. Never a problem going out of stroke. You have to plan accordingly and use your head and you will never go out of stroke. Plenty of room above jacks to raise them.
