was driving down the road the other day - there was a 20 something foot BP with a slide OUT and a window air conditioner mounted in the slide that was out driving down the road - hang a box fan on the bottom

I would send those photos to Norcold ASAP, we have the same fridge and first time out with it the temperature sensor went out, had to wait 6 weeks for the part to be mailed, but at least it was free.

Darryl-- Is the mounting bracket breaking or can you tell what the problem is that is causing the fans to be disconnected? As Rick stated above, I'd be contacting Norcold and send them the pictures and hopefully they can tell you how to solve the problem. You have a new unit and this should not be happening. Who was your dealer and have you contacted them yet on this problem? Your unit is under warranty so anything that needs to be done should be covered by the warranty. Good luck and let us know how things turn out.

I would spend 10 minutes with a couple of zip ties and keep on enjoying
my camper with a cold fridge.

Contact Norcold and let them send parts if needed but I would be using my camper with a nice cold fridge in the meantime.

looks to me like the actual bearing in the fan took a sh*t actually probably the plastic housing holding the bearing. They're like most other american companies, bid goes to the lowest price fan they can find!! IMHO

In picture is that fan and motor or just fan? If fan and motor where are the wires? Looks like it would be dangling by the wires. I have same Norcold and fans are in place but are very loud.

If you need to get new fans. Replace with High quality fans. Do not buy the cheap ones or you will be pulling that fridge out again. Personal Experience.

Get an ARP device (look it up) with the 2 extra fans. One gets mounted in the lower vent pushing air up and one in the upper vent pulling air out the top.

These units will prevent the fridge boiler tube from overheating and possibly catching fire. It senses the tube temp and will cut DC power to the fridge if temps get to high.

The mounts are still mounted this is only the fan part and I am not sure what holds them together but I can see the wiring coils.

The fan at the bottom vent pushing up is still there and ok, it's the 2 fans near the top vent pushing air out the top vent so they are about a foot below the top vent and it looks like the fans came apart and broke the wires and internals.

On a stock set up from the dealer you would have no lower fan. Maybe someone added one. You should be able to get to the upper (stock) fans from the top vent.

Our 2015 came with lower fan from factory.......... just sayin. If the upper ones are toast I would purchase some higher quality fans and install them yourself...

That's new to me. I have never seen more than the 2 upper fans that are part of the norcold fridge. At any rate, my stock upper fans never come on having the ARP device installed with the 2 additional fans

Is this ARP device easy to install? Buy high end fans, what does that mean? How do I tell a high end from a standard fan? is it more important to have the exhaust at the top pulling the air out or fans it the bottom pulling in new air? If you install the ARP does it void the Norcold warranty?

The install depends on to camper you have and where the fridge is installed. You defiantly need to be somewhat mechanically inclined to do it. You have to mount the boiler tube sensor in the right spot and wire the controller into the system. There are videos to show you how to do it and you can call them with any ?s you might have.

As far as the fans go, get the APR device with 2 fans from them.
