I have a residential samsung in my Montana. I have a source for AGM group 27 for $50 and 180 watt panels for $120. I have 8 panels on my roof running through a Victron controller.
My fridge never quits and my out lay is minimal. Now will anyone really care?
Jeff
Jeff, I'm new to 5th wheels and am wanting to add more battery for the same reasons mentioned above. (Fridge &/or heater kill the batteries over night) Can you say where you are getting AGMs for such a good price? Is it here in the Valley? Plus if you added 2 or more batteries what are you using for a battery box?

I get my 100 amp hour AGM from Chet at Independent battery company, 1014 East Southern Avenue Phoenix Arizona. Give him a call and he will fix you up. Tell him Jeff and Harold sent you. you should be able to get hundred amp a GM's for $50 each. I have four of them in my trailer. As for the solar give me a call at 425-359-1111. Your refrigerator power problems will be a thing of the past.

I bought 4 100amp AGMs. If I start my frigerator on a hot afternoon from a warm start it will run off the inverter and in the morning I will be down to about 78% of available battery life left. my solar system will have the batteries fully charged while running the refrigerator in hot Arizona weather by 10 or 11 a.m. in the morning

AGM batteries are sealed with no venting that is the reason I use them. I did not use any sort of sealed enclosure I can send pictures
