Refrigerator

I have a question about the refrigerators. I know they recommend that the unit be level when the refrig. is on, they say you may cause damage to the unit. My question is when you stop over at night and don't want to unhook the rig because you want to get a early start the next AM, and you know you have to be quiet as not to disturb your neighbors, just how level does your rig need to be? And how long can you lay over without leveling the unit, I mean if the wife wants to shop or something.

Thanks,

Bill & Rita
