Touch up paint

Mr. LaScola,

Thanks for contacting Keystone RV. I am sorry but touch up paint is not
available through Keystone for the Montana. The supplier of the wall
material is Owens Corning Fabricating they might be able to help you
with touch up paint or the color you need. I show the phone number for
them is 574-773-7881.

If you need further assistance please let us know.

Thanks,

Tony Chudzicki

If Owens Corning Fabricating tells you the same thing, you might want to try white touchup for refrigerators and ranges (Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart). I used some almond on our previous TT's tub enclosure with pretty good results. Your fiberglass walls have the color impregnated in the gelcoat resin.

WOW! I can't believe that they don't have touch up paint? You would think that as a service to the customer they would have thought of this????? I'm sure your RV repair center could give you input as tho what they use for repainting.

OK, maybe this is a silly question, but, can you paint fiberglass that has a baked on finish?? OK, I don't know one single thing about paint and fiberglass and stuff!

Yes you can. Anytime there is a repair to the fiberglass sides eg; bubble repairs, etc. it must be painted.

The Keystone dealer here told me they take a paint sample to a local paint shop and they use a computer to identify and match the paint..it is not cheap...However.I found that GM-433 Bright White 16 WA 9753 looks to be the exact same Color//you can get it at Wally Mart.. I had a couple small paint defects in ours and this blended right in.

The GM-433 Bright White is a match as it is the same touch up I use on my GMC TV as well. Haven't needed it on the Monty but I did a test and it matched. And YES I did buy it at WallyWorld
