In another thread a member mentioned taking delivery of their new Mountaineer and finding it has a convection oven rather than the expected gas oven. Someone else replied there's a shortage of gas valves. The following is a quote from an e-newsletter, RV Travel:
RV INDUSTRY RUNNING OUT OF OVENS
Some RV manufacturers are plumb out of ovens because of
a shortage of a valve needed to produce them. Without enough
valves, there aren't enough ovens, complicating matters for
RV manufacturers. "We're building no units with ovens -- there
aren't any to be had," Jayco's Sid Johnson told the South Bend,
Ind., Tribune. And Jayco isn't the only RV maker without
