Bathroom door veneer peeling off/cracked knob

Just noticed the veneer on the inside of the bathroom door in my less than year old 2019 3731 is starting to peel off in the upper right corner, and the rest appears to have shrunk a tiny bit since I can see a strip of bare wood along the entire top edge. While looking carefully at the rest of the door, I saw a inch long crack in the doorknob.

I am so sick of this thing falling apart so quick I dont even like using it but regardless I am stuck with it. Any advice on what adhesive is OK to use? I'd replace the whole door like many have done but am not much of a carpenter unless a door that fits can be bought online. Thanks.
