2nd Annual Mini Rally in Elko, Georgia

Last year we had a great time in Twin Oaks RV park in Elko, Georgia. How many would be interested in meeting from March, 29th - April 1st of next spring (2007). This is at exit 127 off of I-75, easy off and back on. There is much to see in the area, and the people at this campground couldn't do enough for us last year, even furnished a turkey and a ham for our potluck! Roger and I (and Megan) will be there from March 29th - April 2nd. Please check out this campground at www.twinoaksrvpark.com they have a great web site. I do not need any money to hold your spot just sign -up and pay when you get there. All I need now is an approximate # so I know how many sites to hold, I will be checking the board from now until March to find out. This is a great place to see old and meet new friends who are "snow birds" and on our way home!

The rally sounds good to us. We visited this campground on our way to the rally in Daytona this year. We really liked it. Let me know more details when you get them. Jeff

Just checking if we have enough interest to go ahead with this in the spring. Again we will be there March 29 to April 2, hope you can join us. I will need to let the park know how many sites by the first week in March. It was a lot of fun last year and I am sure it will be again, come and meet new MOC's and see some of the ones you already know! We are in Crystal River FL, been here since Dec. 1st, had a good Christmas and enjoying the weather.

Sue, could you please send me an email about the area where you are wintering, please. We sent you an email earlier but I'm not sure it got through. Thanks.

Hi Roger, Sue and Megan,
We had a fantastic time last year and learned that Montana owners are warm, friendly
and like to have a good time. Can't wait to see the people we met last year and meet new MOC members this year. Count us in!!

Well we are half way threw Feb. already!! We have been here in FL. since the first of Dec.! If you think that you will be at our mini rally in Elco Georgia, at Twin Oaks Park, March 29Th - April 1ST. Please post on this board so that I can give the camp ground an idea on how many sites we need. I don't need any money just let me know if you are planning on being there... Hope to see many of you....Sue

Sue, As far as I know right now Dano and I will be there. We should get there Friday the 30th about 9-9:30 pm unless we close our store a little early. We'd close all day, but we're already taking Friday the 16th off to go to Las Vegas for the weekend!

We are considering meeting up with you guys. We will be traveling back home from Fl about that time frame. But not too sure at this time just when we would be there. Sounds like fun, tho. So, we are a definate possibility.

Here we are at Twin Oaks but we are early. Went out of our way to check it out. One of the nicest CGs we have been in all winter. Heading for Son's in Pendergrass for rest of the month so will miss the get-to-gether. Went through Americus on the way to the Andersonville prison and saw total distruction up close. Very ugly!!! Later Dan & Sandy

We were lucky enough to attend last year but unfortunately can't make it this year. Twin Oaks is a great campground. We stayed there on our way home from Florida this month. Catching up on doctors and all that good stuff now and getting ready for Alaska in June.

Be sure and check out all the sites in the area--Jimmy Carters home and Anderson Prison.

Well, the Monty is in the parking lot at our store!
It's going to be hard to stay here all day!
I've been giving tours to my customers!
I made up my sauce & will put together some lasagna tomorrow. Yum.
Looks like it's going to cool down a bit for us to really enjoy the campfire.
Sure could use a nice rain to wash away some of this pollen!
Opps, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned rain!
We'll be there by 9 tonight !
