bars in refrigerator
Our Dometic fridge did not come with the little bars that you can flip up to stop items on the shelves from falling forward. Does anyones fridge have these? Ours is a 2007 3400. Our dealers warranty department says they don't come with the fridge and we have to buy them our selves. Right or wrong?

As far as I know, your dealer is correct. Unless you negotiate for the accessory items, you buy all that's needed to outfit your rig. For those cabinets wider than 28", we use inexpensive tension curtain rods from Walmart. By-the-way, we use the short bungee cords to secure the door handles while traveling. We also use a longer bungee to go from the oven door handle over to the back of the range top.
Occasionally, we had roads rough enough to open a cabinet door or the oven where pots are stored and now we don't.

Some of our shelves have those flip up bars. But they don't always stay up along with the door staying closed. They do nothing to hold things up straight. I use the door more than the shelves.
The bottom shelf does not have one.

Pick em up at Walmart, little curtain rods with spring on the inside and rubber ends. They work great and cheaper than buying at the dealers or CW.

We did not get them with our refrig. Like Stiles, we purchased the short tension curtain rods from the 'frig. They're much cheaper than the ones you buy at Camping World which does have some that are really short. We use double backed Velcro to hold our cupboard doors closed on the road, also available at CW. We've never had trouble with our oven door coming open.

Justbeginning,
We have a 2007 3400RL and it did come with the flip up bars on the refrigerator door shelves. I can't remember (sorry about previous assertive statement) if there were bars provided on the main shelves in the body of the refrigerator but I don't think so.

Our 2006 came with the flip-up rods, don't remember any extra charge for them. They work great, we have never had an accident with the refrigerator.
Before moving, we always snug everything up to the rods....

Our 2007 3400 came with the flip-up bars. It does not have the bars on the bottom shelf. I wished it came with two horizontal shelves in the door rather than the one and a juice holder. I guess I'll have to order another one.

I would say that if you are missing a flashlight, too, then someone probably "borrowed" those flip up bars. We don't really use them; like others, we use the tension bars from Wally World.

Our 2007 Mountaineer did come with them. They were already in the fridge when we first looked at the unit.

Our 2006 has the flip up bars in the refrigerator. As far as flashlights go - our unit didn't have one and our dealer had to order one - they said Keystone was "between vendors" for flashlights, so we'll get one later.

Our fridge came with the flip up bars. Not sure they work that well(wife says). Did not have to order them. Flashlight lasted about two maybe three trips before it stopped working. Will not order one that works, bought flashlights with batteries that work much better.
