New tires

I have a new to me 2008 Montana 3465SA and need new tires. It has 235/80R16's now it. I am looking a Fierstones 235/85R16 HT any thoughts

Weigh your rig, don't just use the weights on the label. Calculate what weight is on your axles and go from there. For safety, you should have tires rated at least able to handle the load, so go with what works for you from there.

I don't know anything about those Firestone tires. You should at least look at the Bridgestone Duravis R250's if your considering an LT tire.

I got rid of the original Marabombs and put on Firestone LT tires - no problems at all after 10k miles and they still look new (despite my hitting a few curbs!). Their build dates were all in 2013 and I'll be replacing them in 2018 unless something goes boom. One thing is to find a UV blocking tire finish and apply it regularly.

I use the Firestone TransForce tire on the TV. I got 65,000 miles out of the last set.
