Size of Bed Sheets

We are awaiting our new Montana 3075 RL ( you all are probably tired of hearing me say that) but we want to shop for sheets. It has been ordered with a King size bed but I suspect that may not be the same as a King bed you would buy at the the furniture store. Does anyone know the measurments of these King mattresses, such as length, width and depth? Thanks in advance for your help.

I use regular king sheets on our bed.

We use regular king size sheets on ours. The corners of the mattress are rounded, but it doesn't seem to effect the sheets at all. We also got a new comforter, just couldn't deal with the flower thing. And put a feather bed on top of the mattress. We sleep like babies!

John & Dorothy,
I believe that the measurements of the kingsize bed is 72x80. Not sure the depth of the mattress, I am sure someone will be along soon that might have that. Enjoy your new 3075RL when it arrives, the wait is the hardest part.

Thank you all for your help. I was wondering as to whether or not the sheets you are using are fitted or flat sheets. Thanks again.

We have just picked up our new 2006 2980RL with the RV King bed. The dimensions are 72" x 76". Does anyone have any info on where to find fitted sheets and mattress pads for these?

I bought a memory foam topper and a pillow top mattress pad from Sam's that fit our 3400 king bed. We do have a little extra material on the fitted sheet but not that much. The sheets are from Walmart and they were standard size king sheets, one fitted and one flat.

Our mattress is a little shorter than our king at home so the 72" x 76" sounds right.

Our stock King in the 2006 2980RL measures ~70 x 79....We are going to get rid of this mattress and put in our queen sized select comfort bed..60 x 80, but are there different size beds in these models?

A standard king is actually 78x80. We have a Queen in ours and it measures 60x75. A standard Queen is actually 60x80. We use standard Queen sheets and they are fine just a little big. Since we have a memory foam topper it is probably good that it's a little bigger. They must have to make the mattresses the size that fits the space.

We use standard queen size sheets on our queen size Montana bed. I use the elastic garter type things to take up the slack at the foot of the bed on the fitted bottom sheet - works pretty good.

I made a tuck in the standard queen fitted sheets to allow for the shorter mattress. Only took a few minutes and the sheets fit nice and snug without the need for anything more. We put the end with the tuck at the top so it is under the pillows. You could do the same with king sheets to fit the smaller king mattress.
Happy trails....................

Our 06 king bed takes cal king sheets. They really fit pretty well!

Our 06 king bed also takes cal king sheets. I ordered the cal king topper as well and they fit great.

Thank you all for the interesting info on the sheets. I did find a place online which had a very good selection with many sizes. They also had an option to get custom cuts made to your sheets. Here is the link to check out. http://store.prostores.com/servlet/l...ets/Categories

I would be cautious about buying sheets ahead of time unless you get measurements from the 2007. I read somewhere the mattress length in the 2007 models is 80 inches. The queen is a standard residential queen size, so they say. I am not sure about the king. Maybe the later 2006 models have the 80 inch but earlier models had the shorter mattresses. Our 2003 is the shorter one. Do as you want, but don't want you to have a surprise when it arrives.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!
