Patriot hitch install

Well, new patriot hitch is supposed to be here tomorrow or Friday so I will be working on installing it when I next get some warm days. Hitch and rails/install kit was 893 w/ free shipping from etrailer. The local RV Stealership wanted $693 to install the rails GEEZ!! 😳. I think I can pay MYSELF that much to crawl under the truck for a couple hours! And afford beer when I am done! Any thoughts on where is best to put my electrical plug?

I put mine on the drivers side back bed pillar. I installed my own rails it was straight forward but it will be more than a couple of hours unless you get a friend to help.

I put the plug on the drivers side rear up as high as I could so it wouldn't interfere with things that I carry in the back. Didn't want the cord hanging over the tailgate.

Put my plug inside the bed. Chevy has a harness already to use for this purpose.
