Shuffling Off

Just wanted to let people know that we've jumped ship. We're proud owners now of a class A (Damon Tuscany). We finally succumbed to the full paint job and big wheels. You can read more about our decision here.

Dave and I wish you both safe and happy travels. We have also contemplated the class A for all the same reasons. For now we will stay with "The Casa", but if we ever go fulltime it will be a real consideration. Hope to see you on the road!!

Thanks for all the well wishes. So far we're enjoying the new digs but we're parked for the winter so time will tell if we made a good decision. We've been doing mods (little ones) to make it our own and fixing broken stuff (some things don't change).

Yes, we're SOB now but we intend to keep up with the MOC. It's still the best site for tips, tricks, repairs, etc. Since we've been in the new rig we've had the exact same kinds of things to fix and modify that we had with the Big Sky. In some ways it's worse as there are more things to go wrong when you have inverter, generator, BIG Cummins (8.7 liters, 360 HP, 1040 ft. lbs. torque), 3 gals. of oil to change, etc.

We're also going to be work camping next summer for 6 months and that's another whole topic. We'll be in Maine at Narrows Too, just outside Acadia NP. It's kind of like we went 'All in'.

Congrats on the new rig, we jumped ship last March and have to admit that we have not regretted it. Safe Travels.

Dave;

The flamingoes have been with us all 14000 miles. They are sitting at the edge of our site right now....absolutely love em....and everybody is always asking where we got them we have such fun explaining that, LOL.
