Blue flame heat
We are using this Blue-flame heater with efficiency in the high 90's, very comfy with the ceiling fan circulating the warm air.
Much better and less costly than the furnace in the RV, that sucks up the Propane.
Glad I hooked it up.

We have used the stove eyes to warm up a cold camper on a frosty morning. Now we have a Mr Buddy that works well but will still use the stove eyes.

Make sure you always leave a window cracked open for ventilation, these things put off tons of CO2 and CO, not to mention moisture.

I agree with coyoterick especially when using your stove for heat. You could wake up dead.

Not true about the CO, a bit of moisture but we need that
With efficiency in the very high 90's you don't have it
I tested it running for 8 hrs with my recently calibrated $1500 gas analyzer,
No problem. (Last fall)
Dick: Mr Heater about a 30,000 btu
Should have gotten a smaller one, that sucker will run you out

I think Murphy's Law applies here. Highly combustible camper, open grill on all of them to red hot surface emitting gasses that will kill you in your sleep if one safety controls fail. I`ll stick with the furnace, propane is not that expensive.

I somewhat agree, I don't sleep with it on just because I am a Pipefitter with 40 years experience as a HVAC serviceman and contractor, but otherwise, it's fine.
We all have to feel comfy with our choices, I respect yours.

We use ours all the time but we have a vent open a little to vent. I would not switch back to the furnace when dry camping for anything.. When we have hookups we run a little big heat elect unit.. This works fine for our needs. We have been dry camping for the past 30 days and will be doing the same till the end of Feb..

Got a Big Buddy we use when needed, along with a filter & hose to hook it to a grill tank. I've tried figuring a way to hook it to the trailer, but our floor plan doesn't allow mounting it (or any other catalytic heater) anywhere it can be used and still hook it up. We've never had any gas or odor problems with it, and I've used smaller versions in several trailers and RVs in the past w/o any issues either. Only one like Oz said, is the extra moisture that you need to vent.

I have a Big Buddy that hooked into my refrigerator gas line. I put a quick disconnect in the line with a short hose, works fine. It's good to know it's safe to use inside.

We have a KOZY WORLD propane heater mounted on the kitchen island- We have had it for 10 plus years- We had it in a previous unit and had it moved to our current unit- It has an automatic shutoff if the air becomes toxic- We do not leave it on overnite- As stated by Ozz, it is very efficient and works without any external electricity- Would not be without it- JMHO- Don
