Waterproof connectors for electric brakes

These have been out for a few years, but I wasn't aware of them till a phone tech was at my house fixing a land line issue. They are crimp connectors filled with a gel like material that can keep water out of a wire connection for what I'd guess to be 98% of the time. They will work for your electric brake wires at each wheel's brake magnet connection as well as improve your light wire connections on say a car or boat trailer. I don't get reimbursed from this website, but am posting it as a reference only. https://www.trailerpartsdepot.com/sh...m-brand-5-pack

I have been using the heat shrink crimp connectors you can get at any auto parts store for a while now. I particularly like them as they are more or less waterproof and the heat shrink adds additional strength which helps reduce the tendency of wires to pull out of connection

When ever possible i soldier my connections and heat shrink them. That will keep the water out. Sometimes it takes another hand to keep the wires together. and takes longer but much better way. Not always easy and then I use crimp with shrink wraps.

I do just like the Bone when I can not a big fan of just crimping wires but if you have to it works just make sure you use shrink wrap when you are done!

Harbor freight sells the Marine grade heat shrink tubing. Works great and very water tight.
