Both hoses I removed were so stiff they wouldn't straighten. One of my new ones is a Canco the other a Marshall. I put a longer one (15" vs the original 11") on the roadside as the original was actually pulling the bottle sideways. Amazing what RV builders use to save a few bottom line cents

It seems to me there was a problem I had with a clunking noise after the automatic changeover. The fix was replace the secondary regulator. I do remember there was something different than the oem one. Once changed all was good

I recently replaced both of mine within two months of each other, the driver side regulator completely failed and the passenger side began leaking propane. With both being new I hope they will work for the next few years, I know, wishful thinking on my part.

I hope you 'upgraded' to a Marshall (Marsh Excelsior now) from the Fairview products.
