Shurflo Pump Silencer Kit

I read on another forum that this guy purchased a kit from shurflo, which consisted of two pieces of flex tubing with fittings, which attached to the input and output of the pump almost completly silenceing the pump. They said they got it at CW, I checked their site and could not find anything. Has anyone seen this kit advertised?

Hello Bill,

I have purchased steel braded flex lines from my RV Dealer. They have them in assorted lengths. They work great. The secret here is isolating the pump from the stiff lines. I had read a couple of years ago about this fix. The article suggested installing the flex lines and getting them long enough to put a loop in the line. Didn't know about a kit. It will help if you do as described.

Happy Camping

I saw these in CW in Mission just yesterday. They consist of two lengths of hose with couplings to attach to PEX tubing. Only problem might be finding space to locate the extra hose, which is why I held off spending the $15 or so to buy them before I checked our installation more closely.
