Cleaning the bottom trim

I have experienced pretty good success at cleaning the fiberglass part of the Montana, that part above the rubber molding on the sides, but the part below the molding, which feels more like some form of plastic is proving more resistent to cleaning.

What do you do to tackle this part of your Montana? Thanks!

Do not use wax, I used Nu-Finish on the trim on my first Montana and never did get it off.On my second montana I'm using 303 Aerospace Protect, which I purchased at an RV store to clean and protect.

That is painted aluminum and it is porous and does not let the wax go after it dries. I use like Rex&Mary an ArmerAll type protestant.

I've not been very successful at cleaning those panels, either. I'll watch this thread closely for ideas.

The best stuff I found is Awsome. You have to use it full strength. It will take the wax off. It does a good job on the rubber trim also. We buy ours at the Dollar Tree @ $1.00 a bottle.

Just did mine with simple green. It also works well on the seam caulking.
