2 weeks
As some of you know, we tangled with a semi 2 weeks ago. The semi won. I notified National General insurance immediately. It 2 weeks for them to authorize, now the shop says it will take at least 4 weeks to get replacement parts and up to 12 since Keystone no longer uses that color or style of back cap.
GRRRR.

3.5 months, ouch! We have a plan B camper for just such an occurance but 3+ months in the camper would get claustrophobic quickly.

It took us around two months (IIRC) to get a front cap for our 06. Part of the problem was it being out of production and the rest was getting it shipped. Not the easiest thing in the world to ship due to it's bulk.

We're so sorry. Jan told us you had problems, but didn't elaborate. We had to replace an axle and lost a week, but back on the road now. Keep in touch.

We hadn't heard what happened, but you both will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Sorry about your bad luck. When I had my accident back in July they told me 2 months. I decided to bite the bullet and trade my 6 month old monty in on a new one. It is still setting at the dealers waiting on parts. They are sick. said it could be 4 to 6 more weeks. Sure glad I didn't wait, plus don't know what kind of job I would have gotten done by them putting on a piece every other week. Expensive trade but thats RV'ing. good luck. Joe

Yes Joe, Hook called me and suggested I consider trading. We are thinking serious about a new 3711. Marilyn wanted a front kitchen, but the big refrigerator sitting where she can reach sold her.

I sure understand. You will take a hit. Mine was only 6 months old. That hurt. But had to do something. Once you look at the damage something like this does to one of these you and the way we use them you are unsure of how they will be after repair. Maybe if we were weekenders it would be fine but hammering up and down the road I was somewhat unsure. I don't envy you of your decision. best of luck though. Joe

Sorry to hear about your repair delays KOLCB. Your post sure started the DW and I discussing what we would do if forced out of our home for weeks and weeks. Our thoughts were to rent an enclosed trailer and haul all our personal property to a storage facility, find housing and wait. Once the unit was repaired then make a decision on trading it or not.
Not a good situation no matter what. We will be thinking of you guys. Good luck.
