Uh-oh...A Hydraulic leak! Any advice welcome!

(Lippert Level-Up system) Today, I walked outside and notice a good sized wet spot on the ground right near the L. front lift ram. It was hydraulic fluid. I opened the access panel and there was fluid all around the battery box and dripping onto the concrete. There are three solenoid looking things attached to the wall in front of the hydraulic reservoir and pump. Each has 2 wires attached to it, and hydraulic hoses attached. Sorry, I don't have a clue what to call these things. The fluid appeared to be coming from the rear-most one of these valve thingys.
All I could think to do was grab a wrench and start tightening the hose fittings.
Any suggestions, ideas would be very welcome!
(By the way, if it helps or matters, the unit is a 2013 3400RL. I would estimate the Level-Up system has been operated maybe a maximum of 60-80 times in its life.)

Checking the hose fittings is the first step. Wipe down the areas and see if you can tell where the leak is originating from. Go to the Lippert web site and look at their support/manual pages or even better, give their support line a call. They should be able to give you the DIY items you can check first. Knowing if it is a leak and where (cell phone pict you can email them) will help on the call.

Just a general tip wrt the hydraulics is I have a piece of tape that marks the tank fluid level when all the slides are in and jack are up to keep track of what the fluid level is so I can tell if I have a leak easier (one in the belly could hide for a while before the fluid works out.

Sounds like the leak is limited to one source. Sometimes tightening the fittings will help, I would look at the line itself, to see if it has split or failed and that the leak is not coming from the pump reservoir itself. I had one with a hairline crack, and lippert sent me a new one at no cost after I sent in the leaker.

Send a message via AIM to stengels
The solenoid valves are easily replaced if that is the actual problem.
