Rut Ro to Cool Beans
When we were coming down I95, at night, to south Florida, we hit a road alligator (a piece of shredded truck tire) with our rear tire causing the nasty piece of rubber to hit our 5th wheel:
I asked my tin knocker wife to whip something up that would cover the thousand dollar hole. Here's what she came up with:
I'm quite happy with the results - Cool Beans!

Looks good! If it was made of diamond plate it would be a good addition for protection from road alligators. We had similar damage on our old pop-up camper a few years ago for the same reason. I used duct tape. I wish I'd thought of sheet metal.

She used 1/8" stainless steel. We feel that if we hit another road alligator we might just survive the hit!

Excellent repair job by the Mrs. Mike. Now while in Florida watch out for the real "road" gators and armadillos. The Mrs probably has extras in her repair kit!

This could be the "Alligator Option" for the next Montana Edition! Make sure Keystone get a photo.
Nice job!
