changed blocks

Well finally really had a chance to test rig going from a #16 to a #12 suspension block. Morryde had told me that I needed a lighter block as my 3000rk with 5200 axles was too light with the 9400# axle weight. We had driven 275 miles over the Cascade Mtn to Burns, Or and when we stopped no open cupboards or items on the floor!! Many thanks Doug and Morryde for the extra service and making DW happy

Morryde does mention this in their owners book and says something like like "if ride too harsh going to a softer or harder block

Gary helped us, too, at the fall rally. He switched out our #5 pinbox spring for the next softer one, #4. It improved the rhythmic chucking on the interstate considerably. Between Gary and Ben, Mor/Ryde has done right by us.
For some reason, our pinbox is rated for 19,000lbs., while our Monty's GVWR is less than 15,000lbs and we run it lighter than that, by actual measurement. I noticed that the new Montanas at the Keystone plant all have pinboxes rated at 15,500lbs. Maybe they have the softer springs?
