goodyear wrangler ht

Searched MOC archives and could not find any topics on this tire. The original owner had just replaced the OEMs just before we purchased the 3400 last March. Are these decent tires? Steve

Steve, those Goodyear Wranglers seem to be pretty good tires. Not being a Goodyear dealer, I don't sell many of them, but I've never had one come back for warranty issues. Just make sure they are the proper load range, keep the proper air pressure, and you should be ok.

I used to use Wranglers on my tow vehicle. It's a good tire, but on my truck they wore fairly fast. Someone told me it is because they are a softer rubber than others, like the Michelins that I now use. Never had any problems with the Wranglers.

The odd thing about these tires is that we bought the Monty for the previous owner the later part of March 08. The date code on the tires were 1408. Kinda seems like fuzy math or my eyes are really bad and i need to take another look at the dates..Steve

I ran nothing but Wranglers on my jeeps for about 15 years. Never had any trouble and got good life out of them. I wanted to find a set for my truck when the OEM Firestone wore out, but I could not find any in an E load range. I did not realize that they made them in a trailer tire.

I thought the 14th week normally fell in April.
