Steve..If I had it to do over again I would go with the new Cummins rather than the power stroke.Ford should be ashamed of themselves with the MPG numbers this 6.4 is doing compaired with then other 2 diesels. The Ford had many "comforts" we wanted but I would now trade them off for the much better MPG the cummings gets and pulls just as well/ We have run into many drivers on the road with trucks such as yours pulling campers just as heavy as ours and I am embarrassed to compare MPG with them. We are happy with the 2 or 3 MPG better than the V-10 when you do as many miles as we do it adds up. Ford says they are working on a "reflash" to improve MPG..But.....Shame on Ford..

Rich, I hope Ford gets it sorted out. The 6.4 is a good, strong engine. And I love the new Ford's interior and exterior. I gave up a couple of things, as you mentioned, that I do miss, like the backup sensors. Dodge just does not offer them. I understand the new Chrysler owners plan to make some changes in that direction, including the ride. We switched to Rancho adjustable shocks to get a good ride as neither of us liked the stock ride.

I'm very happy with this Dodge after the first 28,000 miles, though. But, I think I got us off topic so will cease and desist on this thread.

Gary, would you mind emailing me with some info about that? You can click the envelope icon above this to email me. I'll then give you my email address. I don't like putting it in a public place accessible by google. Too many spammers have it already. Thanks.

By the way, I was born justa few miles east of you, in Batavia.
