Tire wear

I have a 2007 39' montana. MY tires are all wearing weird. Some more then others. I have over 40,000 miles on the trailier, I have put 8 tires on at different times. The wear is mostly on the outer sides and not as much on the inter,but very little in the center. I am not over weight, I keep 80 lbs tire presure. I have asked many tire people and rv shops. They have seen the tires but, do not what is wrong. I need a expert who for sure would know. I am running 10 ply E rating, It is a radial trailier tire could it be rolling? would I be better with a bias flat tread tire? The tread starts to seperate on the outside last row and I just noticed that in the center of one tire in one spot there is a indented scallop spot. I was thinking that might be due to sitting on one of those orange leveler's they sell. It was on those for Three weeks, But I have did this many times and never noticed a problem. The two tires brands that have been the rig are Mission (orginal ) and trans master sold at american tire and firestone stores. This trailer is eating up tires. Again I have checked the obvious weight on axles,balance, psi. again they all seem to wear the same way ! but replacing one at a time,because of un safe tread wear ,they are each at a different wear stage showing the same trend. Help me please!

Possible axle problem. Do you have 6,000# or 7,000# axles? You would need 7,000# axles for this application. I would start there. Hope this helps...I'm sure some of the members here will jump in answer you more correctly

You need to find yourself a good alignment shop. We had the same problem, tires wearing inside and out. We found a good truck/trailer alignment shop in Utah and after 2 years fulltiming the tires look like new. Don't give up, this can be fixed

Gotta agree with Charlie. Sounds like an alignment problem.

Thanks for the input on my tire wear. I hope I can find a truck,trailer allignment shop, and It is not going to break me. This proplem is from day one when it was new. However you know It takes miles to show tire wear pattern, they only warrant the rig for one year, and it took me alittle longer to see there was a pattern in tire wear. Could there be a problem with the mor ryde system. It pulls very good. Is there a camber adjustment to these wheels ?

You can use chalk on a tire tread to tell where it is contacting the pavement in just a few feet of driving. Pavement contact wears off the chalk and will tell you where the tire will wear first. It can also tell you if you are under or over inflated for the load you are carrying.

The alignment shop will adjust toe in and camber by bending the axle. I watched them do ours, nothing to it if you have the equipment and know what you are doing. I believe the cost was $150 total
